Born and raised on a dairy farm in Southern Illinois. She attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, where she studied Theater and Business. She moved to Los Angeles in 1992. She later moved to New York City to do an off-Broadway show in 2013, and now calls NYC her primary home. In addition to her acting, she owns and runs her own accounting firm with offices in Los Angeles and New York City.
