Tony Dalton studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City. During this period he participated in small Off-Broadway productions such as "The Ballad of the Sad Café" and "A Streetcar Named Desire" among others in the late 90s. He gained notoriety from Mexican audiences for having produced and starred in the TV series No te Equivoques (2001). His first successful film venture was Matando Cabos (2004), starring and co-writing the screenplay. He continued as an actor, appearing in Volver, Volver (2005), Efectos Secundarios (2006) Sultanes del Sur (2007) Colombiana (2011) The Perfect Dictatorship (2014). Recent films include Las Hijas de Abril (2017) and La Boda de Valentina (2018). In television he lead the hit series Los Simuladores (2008-2010) He recently starred in the International Emmy Winning series for HBO Sr. Avila (2013-2018).
