He acts, he raps, he writes music, poetry, tells jokes, plays basketball, has a grounded foundation in life, he loves to cook, and he strives to help others. That's a description that encompasses new high school graduate Da'Jour Jones. The Philadelphia native currently residing in Delaware started his acting training at the age of six when he was enrolled at The Philadelphia Acting School. By the time he was 12, he was performing at The Laugh Factory in Hollywood. At 13, he landed a role in the Bo Burnham film Eighth Grade. His career starting to get a bit of solid footing, he was hired to appear in commercials for Adidas and Apple. Da'Jour's love of performing prompted him to edit videos that went viral and produce YouTube comedy shows that have been the talk of The Cab Calloway School of the Arts. That led to an appearance on the series Power, and The Divorce for HBO. Da'Jour has flexed his stage performing chops by appearing in American Buffalo. Not one to let moss gather under his feet, Da'Jour is appearing opposite Rosanna Arquette along with Dylan and Hopper Penn in the newly released film Signs of Love, appearing in both seasons one and two of HBO Max's That Damn Michael Che, and has landed a chance of a lifetime role in the new Paramount+ series Players. You'd think that a teenager would be resting on his laurels, but not Da'Jour. When he's not on a set or in a music studio, he's on a basketball court, volunteering at the YMCA, cooking with his mother, keeping up with his guitar and piano lessons, working in a community garden not far from his home, or hanging out with his best friends Mr. Joe and Miss Rose, who are 87 and 84 years old. They think the world of him and it's a mutual feeling. If that's still not enough, Da'Jour is also an entrepreneur. He's designed and launched his own clothing line called Phenom Outlook. Fashion has always been close to his heart. When he was six, he insisted on getting a pair of pink tennis shoes and when questioned by his mother about why he wanted them, he looked at her and said "because pink is for breast cancer". To this day, he has a little bit of pink in at least one pair of tennis shoes to honor those who've fought the disease. Da'Jour credits Denzel Washington and Liam Neeson as his favorite actors. If he keeps landing roles like Players while remaining grounded and humble, Da'Jour will become a favorite for the next generation. Until then, he's perfectly content just being thought of as an all-around good, soft-hearted, open-minded, empathetic young man who's going to have a very bright future in and out of Hollywood. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Judith Moose - JM Media Group
