Theresa was born in Kolkata, West Bengal. After being given up for adoption to Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charities (also known as Shishu Bhavan) she was eventually adopted by a couple living in London. Theresa came to England aged 9 months old and began a very different and blessed life to the one she may have had if she had survived in India. Aged 8 she began studying at the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London, and followed her passion for acting from a young age. In later life she attained her Acting degree from the Guildford School of Acting. Since then after acting in various TV shows and musicals, the acting career was put on hold to raise her family and look after her terminally ill father. Theresa has returned to her acting career full-time in 2016 and has never looked back! A talented, hard-working, and doggedly determined actress - Theresa is keen to pursue a career on the big screen first and foremost & has worked on a number of short films and features. No doubt her biggest leading role will be in a BBC feature documentary in early summer 2018 (date TBC) which charts her incredibly emotional journey to trace her birth mother and family.
