Emily Mest

Emily Helen Mest was born in the small town of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on September 7th, 1992. She was raised by her parents Carol and Charlie and has one older brother named Elliott. Emily is of Italian and Irish descent. She attended The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts as a theatre major and graduated in 2010. She then went on to tour the country with the Broadway musical "Spring Awakening" in the role of Thea. After the tour, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue more television and film projects. Emily has extensive musical theatre, voice, dance, improvisation and stage training through various training programs including NYU's Cap 21 intensive and Upright Citizens Brigade. Emily appears in the eighth season of American Horror Story: Apocalypse as Casey. Emily is also an accomplished singer and songwriter starting with her first single "Atmosphere". After that, she featured on electronic-pop duo Phantoms most recent album with the song "Tried To Be Nice". In 2015, Emily appeared alongside Bailey Noble in the short film Velvet Karma (2015). In 2016, she appeared in the comedy parody web-series The Beachelor (2016). And in 2017, Emily appeared alongside Kyle Allen in the romantic short film 3 (2017). Emily can be seen in upcoming horror film The Malibu Tapes (2018) and coming-of-age musical drama Killian & The Comeback Kids (2018).
