Usman Akram

Usman was born in Karachi, Pakistan before his family moved to live in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he went to an international school. He moved to London in 2000 where he finished his secondary school education, graduating top of his class for Theatre Studies. He then went onto university to study English Literature & Drama and eventually Acting. After securing representation from MN Talent in London, he began forging his career in the UK TV and Film industry. He has appeared alongside Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt in Edge of Tomorrow, a Cancer Research advert, an episode of BBC's Sherlock and Bollywood film Fan, starring Sharukh Khan. He will soon be appearing in Gold (2018), starring Akshay Kumar and the upcoming Teen Spirit (2018), starring Ella Fanning. As well as being an actor, Usman has an incredible passion for rock-climbing. He has been climbing for over ten years and these experiences he shares with others as an instructor and coach for Stronghold Climbing Centre, based in Tottenham Hale, London. He coaches adults and children, in order to improve their performance as rock-climbers.
