Luis Bordonada is an American actor who joined the Army after graduating High School. He started his theatre education under the guidance of Prof. Hector Serrano, founder of Viva El Paso and Shakespeare on The Rocks Theater Festival. His first break in film came from the Hughes Brothers and their film, The Book of Eli. In the same year Luis was cast as the lead in the award winning independent film, Ilegales (Illegal), for which he earned a Best Actor Award in Chicago's Naperville Independent Film Festival. He has had recurring roles FX's The Bridge, AMC's Better Call Saul, along with guest starring on A&E's Longmire. He will next star alongside Allison Tollman, Sophie Reid and Jobeth Williams in Barracuda, which premiered in SXSW 2017. Luis currently plays Nelson Herrera on Starz' new critically acclaimed series, Vida. He recently wrapped on the show's second season due for release on the Spring of 2019. Luis is the son of a retired Army sergeant, Alexander Bordonada, who served three combat tours in Vietnam and Korea. This made his portrayal as Charlie Burroughs in the feature film SGT Will Gardner his most intimate role to date. SGT Will Gardner is Max Martini's directorial debut and is due for theatrical release January 11, 2019. - IMDb Mini Biography By: unknown
