Marisa Bach was born in Munich, in 1978, as Marisa Leonie Bach and is related to composer Johann Sebastian Bach. All-rounder Marisa enjoyed classical vocal training as well as instrumental lessons in piano and violin. In addition, she was raised bilingually in German and English. She studied acting from 1998 to 2002 at the renowned Lee Strasberg School in New York and with several German Coaches. Her feature film debut followed in 2000 with "Einladung zum Mord" (Invitation for Killing). She earned recognition in 2003 for her contribution to the screenplay of "Another Point of View". Other TV-roles followed, such as in "Tatort- Der traurige König", "König Drosselbart", "Zwölf Winter", "Schief Gewickelt" and "Flem-ming". She keeps pursuing the writing of screenplays, thus another script of hers and her husbands' will be filmed in the near future. Since 2000, Bach is married to Ken Duken, with whom she has a son. The family lives in Berlin. She took consistent maternity leave for her son and refrained from the film industry for a while. After her hiatus, Marisa Bach starred in various episodic roles, such as, in "Add a Friend", "Soko München" and "23 Cases". She played the role of Vera in the Italian production "Max e Hélène".
