Giana Basilio was born in Paris, France to Mildred and Oscar Basillo. She has three siblings. She is of Italian (mother) ancestry. Giana speaks fluent French, yet Italian has been her primary language since the age of ten, when her family moved to Trieste, Italy. Giana grew up around her father's work as a videographer and film editor (Oscar Video Productions). Her first acting experience occurred on the set of "Bastards" (2016), alongside actors Owen Wilson ("Zoolander", "Wedding Crashers", "No Escape") and Ed Helms ("The Hangover", "We're The Millers") directed by Lawrence Sher.
