Zayne Emory is an American actor born in Oregon. At a young age, he showed an abundance of interest in acting. This was recognized by his awards in elementary, including a 2007 Gallery Theater award for "Outstanding Youth Debut" and a 2008 Oregon State Double Grand Championship earned at a Youth Focus Talent show. Beginning his career as a child actor around the tender of age of eleven, Zayne made his screen debut in 2009 in an episode of the fifth season of Criminal Minds (2005). Other early television work include episodes for the Desperate Housewives (2004), Ghost Whisperer (2005) and The Closer (2005) all during 2010. Zayne made his film debut in 2011 in the romantic comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011), starring Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Julianne Moore. Entering his teens, Zayne continued to pick up roles in series including CSI: Miami (2002), Shameless (2011), Modern Family (2009) and Kickin' It (2011). In 2010, Zayne joined the second season of the music comedy I'm in the Band (2009) in 2010, for which he earned the Young Artist Award in 2011 and in 2012. As he continued with making episodic appearances in other series, he landed recurring roles in the series The Goldbergs (2013), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2015) and 24: Legacy (2016) during the mid 2010s. By the mid to late 2010s, Zayne became a frequent cast member of teenaged teams, beginning with his work in the adventure comedy Maximum Ride (2016). This was followed by a role in another teen team-up in the Marvel Comics-inspired superhero series Runaways (2017).
