Debby Gerber is a Stella Adler trained and Award winning Actress living in Los Angeles and can soon be seen in the Feature Film 'The talking Tree', out in Theaters 2019, as Oscar nominated and Golden Globe winner Sally Kirkland's younger version. She won 'Best Actress' at the 'Festigious International Film Festival' in 2018 for her powerful performance in 'The End of The World' by Josh Thomas, which has won multiple awards nationwide. Debby is known for her always strong and memorable work such as in the world wide award winning film 'Christian Audigier the VIF' directed by Didier Beringuer, 'The Remarkable Life of John Weld' by Gabe Torres, the Ken Marino directed film 'Dog Days', which had a great summer theatrical release in 2018, and multiple TV Drama re-enactment shows like 'Murder Among Friends' on Investigation Discovery or TLC's 'Evil Things'. Debby was born and raised in Basel, Switzerland to loving parents and two older brothers. After studying and receiving her degree in Social Work, she wanted to take a break and decided to go to America for 7 months. These 7 months turned into 2 years studying and completing her acting training at the prestigious Acting School 'Stella Adler Academy of Acting' in LA from 2009 till 2011. Through the encouragement from her teachers and the head of the school, she discovered a new kind of passion and love she didn't know existed: Acting. She graduated as the lead in the play 'Angels of America' by Tony Kushner, portraying the wonderfully disturbed and challenging role of 'Harper'. Since then, Debby has been able to lose her accent and speak English like an American through intensive training and commitment.
