Born and raised in Toronto, Tamara Almeida is of Chilean and Ecuadorian descent. She took an interest in the arts from an early age, after seeing The Phantom of the Opera for the first time at age 5. She participated in various school productions, with her first being the role of Annie at age 10. Once out of school, she began working in sales, finding great success and receiving various accolades for her work. Tamara was at her peak and excelling in her field at a Fortune 100 company, but had always wondered about going back to the arts, quickly realizing her passion was in acting. Without hesitation, she decided to switch careers and began training extensively. Tamara has quickly established herself as a talented actress in films, television series, commercials, and on stage, with recent film/TV credits including Heroes Reborn, Odd Squad, Good Witch, and He Never Died. In addition to acting, she has also coupled her love for art and business savvy to work behind the lens as a producer, writer, and editor.
